We built a self-service business intelligence layer that enabled revenue and sales teams to create their own reports using familiar tools.

The situation

Revenue and sales teams needed the ability to produce their own reports. The data warehouse existed, but without a usable reporting layer it wasn’t helping day-to-day decision-making. The original consultancy had stepped away, timelines were compressed, and the CIO needed something delivered fast.

If teams could access and work with the data themselves, reporting would stop being a bottleneck and start supporting the business.

How we made it happen

We built a business intelligence layer that allowed teams to create reports using familiar tools. We also provided a large amount of in-person and self-service training to encourage user adoption, as well as building a number of dashboards for those teams that didn’t want to do it themselves.
